Exploding Handbag Card

Gorgeous Kanban Sheets

This card was done by cutting a round hole in the main card

and putting acetate behind it. I then put a

backing of thinner white card and lined

up the first layer of the pyramid

behind the acetate.

The rest of the pyramid was attached to the front

of the acetate.

This card was made by

popping out the eclipse shaped picture,

Then putting lace around the pic at the back.

I then stuck on a line of beads and then

a few peeloffs which I coloured with

pens for the finishing touches and the name.

I cut the fan on the craft robo. The

cream designs on the inside corners

are done with a punch and cutter blade.

I made this handbag for a young

lady who is really into goth. The spiders

webs and spiders on the outside were

freehand drawn with a glue pen and then

glitter added.

The inside webs and spiders were

freehand drawn with a black glaze pen.

On this one I cut out some wrapping paper I had bought

and made a christmas bauble out of gold mirror card.

I covered the bauble with some florist fabric I bought.

With a few peel offs and a ribbon to finish it off I

think it was quite effective.

This card was made using a Duflex image

I cut the shape of the image out of a tri-fold

card and put acetate behind it. I then added another

image at the back and some decoupage on to the acetate.

I wanted to do a very special card for my very special brother and his partner. This is just a stunning set by Bette Duganitz bought from the Aimee Asher web site. Yet another of the very talented designers there, I am in awe. The idea for the design came from a beautiful birthday card I received from a dear friend, who's card I will treasure. I hope you like my version.

I have a friend who is mad about bags and shoes and I wanted to stray from the norm for her Christmas card. This Christmas set by Bette Duganitz bought from the Aimee Asher web site was just ideal. I hope she will forgive the fact that I did change the heading from Santa Chic to Dear Friend.

Santa and Boy Christmas card

I wanted to add a different medium so first of all the blue card was embossed with my old friend the Cuttlebug. Using a small piece of silver card I used the same cuttlebug folder and embossed one of the stars and added a bit of glitter glue to it. I made the 3D sheet and decoupaged it, putting glue on the final layer of the beard and sprinkled white crushed velvet flock onto it. It gives it such a lovely feel. The snow and the bobble on the hat is cotton wool which I glued on, adding a bit of glitter glue to the snow and to finish the card I used a greetings peel off.

I cannot seem to get used to the idea that the newest post goes at the top instead of underneath so you will have to forgive me for putting these the wrong way round.

This is the insert I made for the sroll card. I made the card for my uncle and aunt.

I wanted to do something different so I decided to make a gatefold card, (2/3rd and 1/3rd gatefold). I thought instead of the usual greeting on the front I would tell a story and as I love robins....well, need I say more....lol. This is the story of how the robin got it's red breast and is such a nice story I had to use it. I decided that a scroll would be just the thing to use to tell the story. With the little robin decoupage, a greeting and a little bit of glitter to finish it off.

The lattice was scored on the Top Score multi board. The bauble was cut with the craft robo and backed with Christmas fabric, which a dear friend gave me. I made the pointsettia 3D and finished the whole thing off with a little bow and a greeting I made.

This card was a bit fiddly to do but I love

parchment and just couldn't resist this one.

I don't think the pic shows it very well but

the poinsettia in the centre is decoupaged.
